After graduating from the 8th grade at Faith Academy, Veronica went on to graduate High School from Blue Ridge Christian and received an academic scholarship to attend Lincoln University of Missouri, a Historically Black College and University, where she was extremely involved in a plethora of campus organizations and obtained her BA in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. She also has a Masters in Management and Leadership from Webster University.
Her knacks for writing and composition have carried her through the doors of Hallmark as an editor intern, serving as a media liaison for Harvest Church, auxiliary teaching at Faith Academy, and at present entrepreneurship. Veronica is passionate about expanding her family’s 45-year-old Dry Cleaning Business located in Kansas City and also has established a business of her own called, “ImMEDIATE Solutions.” “ImMEDIAte Solutions” is a content and media consulting business that services clients through content creation, ghostwriting, self-publishing, video editing, PR, social media management, design, consultation and more!
Professionally she has written for numerous clients via books, magazines, online publications, and even local Kansas City newspapers. Personally, she has written a number of short stories, poems, a screenplay, and for her blog entitled, “Off The Record.” Veronica enjoys shooting video, video editing and helping friends, colleagues and clients maximize ideas and creativity that surround their entrepreneurial goals.
Veronica is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and in her spare time can be found spending time with her son Jonathan, traveling when her schedule permits, volunteering at church, coaching Faith Academy’s cheerleading squad of which she was a member when she attended, catching up with friends or sorors, and watching and quoting movie classics of all genres—she’s the ultimate movie buff. She enjoys working out, shopping, attending local festivals and events, cooking, and baking.
